The rain made a distint noise on the cobble stone roads below.He speaks to me in a hushed tone so low the mice can barely hear it.He tells me of his childhood.Of all his misfortunes & all the pain he's been through.I hold him close to me.So close I can hear his heart beating in his chest.Itell him that everything was going to work out, that he'll be fine in the end.That if anything horrible happens to him I would die for him.'I like that.' He tells me. I tell that I like his smile,his eyes,his personality, and everything about him.
I tell him that I love him.
But he tells me that I can't love, because if I do it'll only cause misfortune for me.That I'll be just like him if I do.The silience in the air makes the sound of the gun stand out.As if it was a riple in water as you touch it.I hold him close to me as he spends his last minutes in this world with me.His tears are barely whispers in the rain as he dies in my arms.I loved him...I killed him so he wouldn't suffer anymore so he would be happy.
