You know how EVERYONE these days says, "Yer MAMA!!!"? I have to rant about something to do with this saying. I constantly say "yer mama" because I'm not very good at comebacks in any way, shape, or form. Some people are, but I am not. Well, sometimes I am, but that's besides the point.

So anyways, many of my friends' parents are divorced. I have one acquaintance that I don't ever see any more (and will have to endure him once again in high school after switching elementary schools in the 7th grade), and his mother is either dead or he's never met her (he's adopted).

So the other day, there was a freshman dance I attended with a group of my friends. And this friend came over to me and stuck to me like a magnet the entire night, which was a bit disturbing, but whatever. Well, at some point he said something and I said, "Yer mama!" in response and he said something around the lines of "I don't have a mother".

WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS??? I do NOT mean ANY offense whatsoever when I say this. NONE. This has nothing to do with your actual mother. This is meant to be a stupid, stupid remark in response to something that probably isn't entirely witty itself.

So if I ever say this to you and you take offense in it for any reason and inform me of it, expect to get eyes rolled at you and possibly get slugged in the arm.
