I was listening to Final Fantasy X Ending Credit on my headsets while waiting on the library to open its doors. I found myself thinking of something that always comes to my mind. I always see myself somewhere either in the highlands of Scotland (which I have only seen pictures of) and in the hills of Eastern Kentucky (I have been there) and these words came through my mind.
Have you ever wondered why droplets of rain sound like children running and giggling around? Or how the wind touches your hair like a mother's caress? I watch from the inside and see her die. She is a Pheonix drying away, turning to ash awaiting her rebirth as her children peck on her ashen-turned body. Even the Lord knows this and he tries to sooth her with their children's tears, the rain. She warns their children of their killing, but only those in tune with her know of the fate. But, for many those who speak of this are considered idled and low-life; they do not matter. But, I know that we are to give and take in equal balance. If we fear so much of the death of her then why do we still more than we need. Cannot we not give for once for all she and he above have done. No, that is not right, we are in their favour, if we were then why are we dealing so much. She is dying, and she waits for that rebirth that she knows will come. The question remain how does her rebirth harm those who do not listen to her plea.
I thought maybe this could be a blank verse peom, but I have no idea....
