Elfen Lied so. after ruining what little sanity i had left watching somebody's media (it was a random Elfen Lied amv with lotsa blood) i went to go read the manga online. it's actually... not that bad yet. .__. but i'm only on chapter three. mebbe there's more violence later. (not mebbe. prolly.) for some reason, i can take manga blood better than anime blood. the fact that the artwork isn't nearly as... anatomically accurate (translation, it sort of does suck in comparison to the anime .__.) helps. hey... helps is like "Phelps" without a "P" --- in other news, Alphonse Elric is adorable. just in case i forgot to tell anybody.

I was never really into the manga. But the ending of the anime sucks balls, so yeah. I was alone in a dark house when I watched the first episode. And the first episode is by far the most gory (gory but not the most torturous one to watch). When I finished watching it I had to run upstairs screaming "NO LUCY DON'T GET ME"

as i expected, it gave me nightmares. o__0
well, not really, but for me every edge... of, y'know, a table or something. a ninety-degree angle. anyway. they all look like guillotines for no particular reason. so i can't let anything hang off the edge of a dresser or bed now because it'll get sliced off (in my imagination.)
