give yourself away.
i went to the art musium with a friend, and we were walking around and looking at... oh my gosh a moth just landed on my finger.... and im still typing...and it wont move...O_O....ok, there it goes, any way, so were walking around, and i found some paintings that i liked but i hadnt found one that was like my alltime favorit, and i was expecting my alltime favorit to be something so origional and glamorous, and suddenly i came to this picture, and i stoped to look at it and it was a picture of a cross, but very simple, and it looked like it was layed aside, like it was on the side of the painting and the rest of the painting was just floor... or whatever it was, and i stood there for a minute and then looked at the caption to see what it was called and it said 'give yourself away' and like at the same time me and my friend were all like "awwwwwww" it was so...awwwwww!!! like thats exacly what i would describe it as! it was so simple too, the drawing was so simple but when you put the name and it together it turned into something so powerful! i ended up walking out of there and knowing that out of all the glamerous paintings and wonderful colors, none was as beautiful as that one was. it was so simple, yet the best i had seen. kinda reminds me about the world and what god did for us, instead of saying, "i want all the gold and jewles and welth and freedom in this world, all wisdom and nowlege and power," instead of deciting that he didn't want to die on a tree, (cuz you know he very well could have just said no, for he is god) he looked at you and at the cross that was to be his death and our freedom, our forgiveness, and he said, "you know what, you are worth every drop of blood that i shed" looked at us, simple humans, who struggle with what life has to give us, often blind by our own ignorence and almost never thankful, and he said, you are worth it... and the world wonders why he is our my savior.
