Kyoshoku's Journal of Everything
If you peek into here, I'll tell you everything going on with me! Nothing too personal, however. So. . . Peek!
Tsuki and Ryuu
Tsuki and Ryuu are two siblings born into the Arashi line.

Their father and mother both passed away during a battle in which demons claimed their lives.

Their father, Hitoki, was a man that was brilliant with a sword. He kenw how to defend himself and others with an expert hand, and loved his family dearly. He treasured his men and ensured that his land was ruled with a fair and just hand. His people respected him, and often he could be seen training his troops, spending time with his family, or wandering the streets of his land, helping people with whatever chores they required.

Their mother, a wonderfully talented priestess, Niaka, protected the people from the horrible demons that wandered the Nether Realms. Oftentimes, she could only be found at the main household for the Arashi, or at the Shrine in which she prayed for the barrier holding the demons at bay. While she was naturally gifted with maintaining this barrier, it still drained much of her energy, and oftentimes she was pale and weak. Niaka and Hitoki were deeply in love, and cared for the other greatly.

Ryuu and Tsuki are the son and daughter of the two, respectively. Amidst the constant teasing and sibling rivalry, it could easily be said that the pair absolutely hated the other. With Ryuu two years her elder, Tsuki was constantly at a loss for whatever childhood competition they engaged in. Niaka, however tired she was, always quited their disputes and often told them small stories or told them that, "love is an unbreakable bond. Never forget who you love."

So when Hitoki went to war against a strong Demon Lord, and Niaka raced to his side, Ryuu and Tsuki were sentenced to wait in the Arashi stronghold with many guardians. The Arashi Shinobi and Kunochi, especially those in the Elite Guard, are the pride of the Arashi army.

However, Niaka and Hitoki never came back.

The Demon Lord had slain them, and mockingly sent back their remains, mangled and torn up. Hitoki's blade, and Niaka's charms were still with their bodies that had been carried back by the few remaining soldiers gone to war with them.

It would suffice to say that the relationship that Ryuu and Tsuki had changed -- and drastically. True to their mother's words, and at the fragile ages of eight (Ryuu) and six (Tsuki) they truly knew what it was to love somebody.

Ten years later, that very same Demon Lord comes knocking on their doorstep. Tsuki, now an accomplished priestess of her own, protected the lands with the Shrine -- although she boded no fairer than her mother. Worse, actually. She would actually cough up blood due to the stress upon her insides. Her brother always made sure to schedule his demon slaying trips away from these dates, so he could attend to his sister.

When together, Ryuu and Tsuki were joined at the hip, and the young Lord and the Mistress (or High Priestess) could be seen talking, laughing, training, or sleeping together. Whenever Ryuu had to go away, he would always carry their pet hawk, Suna, with them, to carry messages to Tsuki. Tsuki would always answer these calls -- no matter how many notes her brother had stuffed into the small tube.

Eventually the day came where the Demon Lord demanded more bloodshed, and as Tsuki concentrated all of her efforts on keeping the barrier thick and impenetrable, it began to take a toll on her body. Ryuu left, sending message after message to his sicker sister. Eventually it boiled down to the point where Tsuki could not write at all.

Intensely worried, and suddenly awed at how the Demon Lord had retreated, Ryuu rushed back to the Arashi compound, to find his sister laying in bed and incredibly weak. Regardless, he slept by her side and began to nurse her back to health once more, urging words of comfort and of love, when men possessed by demons attacked the compound.

Ryuu did his best to protect Tsuki, and the Elite Guard did their best to protect the both of them, but it was not meant to be. Tsuki, having not much skill with a blade, found herself on the other end of her own sword -- as a possessed man had quite literally stabbed her in the back. Their mission accomplished, Tsuki collapsed to the floor, bleeding and withering away.

Somebody managed to stem the blood flow, but Ryuu simply swept her up into his arms and began to carry her to the shrine. He prayed for a miracle, and the only one he recieved was the barrier breaking as his sister finally died in his arms, and the pain that rushed over him. His sanity cracking.

Viciously he met the Demon King that had dared to kill his family, and at the steps of the Shrine, as well. The people in the Arashi keep were being slaughtered by sheep, and Ryuu let all of this fuel his rage.

Another miracle was granted, and Tsuki opened her eyes and rose, blood dripping form her wound as it reopened, and a golden light surrounding her. Her mother's charms scattered upon her, she stepped out of the Shrine and approached her brother.

((Something or other about using their own souls to summon an ancient force that kills the demon king, and they die.))
