Miss me?

I don't even know how long it has been since I have written a journal entry; so, I'll just reflect on a few things.

Haven't heard much from most of my family; either the situation is under wraps and unheard of, or people are just ignoring it, or people are still refusing to talk. I don't know.

Moved into my new apartment last week; the girls I live with are great! Kathryn, Sandra, and Jamie; fabulous darlings, they are!

They invited me to Cowboys last Wednesay to celebrate Kathryn's 21st, and I went. Met a guy - Jay - from UTSA. He was pretty much the only guy sober that I met that night... and wasn't feelin' all over me or buying me drinks to get me messed up. Haven't talked to him since; I wish he'd call me... I guess knowing a last name would have been nice. If I don't hear from him, it's not a big loss. Whatever... my best friend Hillary can have him wink

Eddie helped me move; I love my darling sweetheart!

Sean helped me move, too. He came over to talk, and he ended up with a spider on his arm. Coincidence? A Sign? Voodoo? I don't know, but it was creepy. AND, I HATE SPIDERS!! So to sleep on a futon mattress on the floor was quite uncomfortable that evening. I slept with the lights on the following night, and I haven't been back since because...

Went to Las Vegas with my mom and sister this past weekend. I slept six hours in three days. We had loads of fun - sight-seeing, touring, gambling, food,... Everything was fabulous!! In our first 15 minutes of gambling, mom won the biggest jackpot possible on a nickel machine... 10,000 nickels = $500. PLUS, she still had at least $40.00 worth of credits in the machine. Overall, she had the best luck, winning over $1,000 total... pretty much paid for our entire trip! I got lots of souvenirs, as well as THE CUTEST THING for Eddie... he's gonna love it when he comes to visit me and sees it!!
