The command career counselor came to my office just now to briefly talk to me about my plans and my deployment. I'm up for orders (as I have been since may) and I'm up for overseas duty.
This is rediculous. As a medic even if I'm on shore rotation to work in a hospital i still get deployed with my unit. I spent half my career in iraq when I should've been in the US. Now they want me to redeploy? This is stupid. I'm glad I'll be discharged soon.
