So they say.

Anyone hear about the Collider? (AKA the LHC)

Rumors have it there's gonna be some kind of mistake when they turn it on, causing an oversized black hole. . . && BOOMM.

There goes the Earth. D;

For those who don't know (because I just found out the DAY BEFORE they would activate it! D: ), the LHC is a computerized machine (robot, whatever. . .) which is supposed to create a miniature version of the Big Bang, hence, making a miniature black hole. (Whooo!! Black hole! Fuuuun.)

But since the machine thingy is HUUGE, people are scared to friggen death, over exaggerating about it all.


From not trusting professional scientists, to making up their own crazy little stories about the world ending ("It's another freaking Big Bang!!" or "The Black holes will suck us into a parallel universe where we won't be able to survive!!" or simply "IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD, DAMMIT!!!" wink , there's all the reason to be scared as hell. 8D

The ironic part is that a lot of people end up having panic attacks and eventually die of a heart attack before the world actually "ends."

So do us all a lovely favor:

Don't be one of those people.
