Um, hello. :]

I couldn't help but comment on this journal here.
I'm just writing really to let you know some things that I find interesting and that I think make sense.
I'm not trying to turn you away from your belief or anything, just cause you to think about what you've written.

Now, first off, for what you said about "some random person" who wrote the Bible.. it wasn't just one person, it was actually several people led by God to write it.
There are even records of the people and their travels, etc, in history's records that correspond with the Bible that I'm actually reading about right now in school. ^^
So it's not just random people.. ;]

Also, as far as where God came from.. well, He just is, and always was.
It's really hard to understand, I do admit, to have a Being that's never been created, but that, my friend, is because we've never known anything different. Because we ourselves were created, it doesn't seem to make sense that God wasn't created. It's just something you have to trust in when you believe what I do. :]

And really, as for your questioning of how God could trust Himself with all the power in the universe, that's kinda a long answer. lol.

If you have ever read the first chapter in the Bible, Genesis, you'll see that God has always intended the universe to be good. That was changed however when Satan fell from God's grace and afterwards tempted Adam and Eve with the apple in the Garden of Eden.
With that said, because Sin was created, I can see how you could have doubts as to God being perfect. But the thing is, He is. Because of the doubt and sin that was brought into the world, why wouldn't we question the perfection and goodness of God? But the thing is, good was intended in the beginning, and sin was brought in after. So really, we shouldn't worry about God messing up our world. ;]

I hope this makes sense to you what I'm trying to say..
I'm not trying to force anything on you, as previously stated, but I just want to let you know the basis of my belief. :]
