It had been two years of fun and laughing. We were desperatly in love and he had even said we were angaged to be engaged. I Couldn't beleive this was happeneing to someone like me. He was a gentleman. He was kind,sweet,smart,fuuny and he always cared what people ,mostly me,thought of him like he always needed to be the best or I wouldn't love him.
I did. With all my heart but now I know how that isn't enough.
Now he's gone. He fell in love with another girl and although he said he didn't ike her,they were just friends and so he was going to give her a try, I know the smile he smiles at me,now I turn around when he does this and there she is. Smiling back at with the same happyness.
So I let him go. Told him I would wait forever. Although forever might not be long enough.....
