Tho there are many caravans that cross the desert, few travel alone. Raiders ransack all those who enter their domain. I thought that if I traveled with a small groupe of merchants, that I might go unseen. It was early this morning that our groupe was attacked, the scouts thought that it was only going to be a small groupe, perhaps three attackers, they were wrong. The attackers were just the advance few that attacked to test our deffenses. Many were taken hostage, a few, killed outright in the assault. I was lucky enoughe to slip threw the sands unnoticed and escape. I have little water and few supplies, I pray that I find another caravan before the desert takes me
