"Ok...Refresh my memory...why are you doin' this?" Zee says in protest as Onima danced tauntingly in front of her.
With a giggle, the hyper active bunny only exclaimed, "It's snowing! Don't you like the snow? Or does being a fire demon also make you a stick in the mud during winter?"
Zee sighed, "Actually...Bein' a fire demon', I love winter. And I hate summers. It's easier for me to heat up then cool down. And I love snow, thank you. But you don't see me dancin' around here like a stripper."
Onima plopped down next to Zee with a grin, "Aww you're no fun! Oh~! I know! Lets go out and make snow angels!"
"No."
"Snowmen?"
"Hell no."
"Snow ice cream?"
"Not in the mood."
"Geeze, ya kill joy! What are you in the mood for?"
Zee only stared at Onima, not out of frustration, but it seemed as though she wanted to say something as she looked Onima over. Instead, Zee remained quiet and turned away from Onima with a sigh.
"Hmm?" Onima smiled. She Crawled around to where her and Zee were face to face and wiggled her hips playfully as she grinned up at the cat demon, "Oh come on. You can tell me anything! What is it you want?"
Zee growls, standing to her feet and storming into the next room as she yelled, "I don't know what I want right now!!"
Onima sat in the middle of the lounge room floor, watching Zee storm off, before sighing and hanging her head.
Zapook walked into the room with a grin, "You're starting to get to her, bunny. Keep it up!"
"It's already been several days. If she wanted to be as mean as you claim she is, wouldn't she have snapped by now?"
"Usually. But Something's bugging her. Just stick Close to Ekone and keep teasing her without letting her know what you're doing."
Onima nods reluctantly and sighs. "At least I can go play in the snow..."
"Onima...the snow didn't even stick..."
"...Oh."
----------------------
Zee was out on the balcony, sighing to herself as she watched the snow drift to the ground, barely leaving a mark as it sunk into the ground and grass surrounding Tina's house. Only the flakes that had fallen onto Tina's mini van remained, but even that was barely seen on the car's white surface. The ghastly foxes that had surrounded their home were happily playing with each other in the snow, and Zee could only grin as she watched them.
A loud explosion like noise made the house tremble. The foxes around the home scattered, disappearing from sight into the surrounding bushes.
As the trembling settled, it was followed by Tina screaming Zapook's name at the top of her lungs.
In the halls of the home, several of the house's residents had gathered near Zapook's room. Peaking in, Zee saw that the door leading down to Zapook's basement had be blown off the hinges, and Yinxao was planted into the wall on the opposite side of the room, coughing with the fur on her face and belly covered in black soot.
Zee quickly peeled the tiger like kitten off the wall, and ran down the steps, Tina following close behind. Zapook was laying on her back, near the entrance to the lab, holding up an empty vile.
"This...Did not work...And I...and growing angry...Very angry"
Zee sighs, "Maybe you should quit...I mean...Look at Poor Xao Xao."
Zapook stood and dusted herself off and took the kitten from Zee, "I know...but project 'True Form' will work one of these days, soon! I swear!"
