I've been waiting to discuss this for sometime now. Since the population of Twi-Freaks out there has increased immensely as of lateand the movie is out now, I decided to bring it up at last. Even if you completely hate Twilight, I recommend finishing this entry out. I want opinions on some of the things I post, and answers to my questions.

There are some things that I want to point out about about this cultish craze. As well as some things I want to know, such as what there is to be so obsessed over for some, or why it is so terrible for others.

I didn't entirely hate it. Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series was more tolerable than Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series. It does not, however, stand any chance against Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles or many other vampire series/novels out there.

The Twi-Freaks reading this are probably going to say that Anne Rice's novels aren't targeted to their age group. Well, that may be so, but even still, Twilight was never targeted to this group, either. Personally, I'd reccomend Interview with the Vampire before I'd even consider reccomending Twilight.

Question #1: What is there to like about Twilight? I find it very cliche, and unoriginal, but that's just me, I guess. There are lots of books with the same story as Twilight's. Vampire Kisses, Southern Vampire series, Night World, I can go on for a while. In fact, there was even a show about a human girlXvampire guy relationship that only just stopped airing last year. Ever seen Moonlight?

Question #2: Why loathe it so terribly? Sure the Twi-Freaks are incredibly annoying, but it's not that dreadful. Tell me why you cannot stand it at all, to a point where everyone has to know about it.

Question #3: This one's for the "Team Edward" Twi-Freaks. Don't you honestly think that Jacob deserves better? Anyways, the werewolf is destined to never get the girl, just so you know.

Question #4: Who else thinks that Imprinting on babies is disgusting and creepy?

Question #5: Do you not realize how Gary Stu/Mary Su-like Bella and Edward are? Everything goes there way, and they are the perfect pair. Do I have to go on much more?

Question #6: For those of you who enjoyed the Twilight movie, why? I liked it for the laughs, yet very few people in the theater had been laughing like I was...

Question #7: We waited through four books for Bella to become a vampire. It was going to inevitably happen. So tell me, was anyone surprised when it did?

Question #8: Not really a question this time, more of a statement, actually. Two, to be even more precise. 1) Edward is a fictional character. And 2) Even if he was real, he's Bella's, obviously.

Question #9: Who else agrees that about three-fourths of New Moon was a waste of paper? She went through some kind of withdrawl without Edawrd. What sort of message does that send out to girls?

Question #10: Back to the subject of Anne Rice books. Did the stuff with the immortal children remind you of Claudia, too?

Question #11: Again, not so much of a question at all, really. There were Dracula vamps in Breaking Dawn!

Question #12: Who else doesn't think that it's fair for Bella to have control over her bloodlust after being turned, but Jasper still struggles?

Question #13: Did you notice how Breaking Dawn compared vampires with viruses?

Question #14: Stephenie Meyer seems to be an anit-feminist at times. Agree or disagree?

Question #15: Twilight isn't very well written. Agree or disagree?
