I merely a mortal
A fallen angel of darkness
Knowing no rights from wrong
Or love from hatred

Midnight wings as dark as the sky have gone
A love to strong got broken like a heart
All thats going to happen
Is the blood everlasting

All around me
I see blood and feathers
My vision darkens
This is the end

Crimson tears fall one by one
Upon the feathers
Of the wings you broke
And the heart you held so tight

One last death wish
Faintness of breath
Live for me and do what I could not do
To only close my eyes and not feel the pain

There I lay in the cold
The snow around me stained red
I feel nothing now
Because I am dead
