Date: September 27th-30th

Construction has begun just as planned. We decided to start building the smallest houses and work our way up from there. The fox brothers of coarse each stuck with their new owners. Not much else to report besides the fact that a few houses were already finished.

Date: October 1-31st

A couple sections of the village have been finished.... we still have a long way to go but it's coming along pretty nicely. Yasu is fully healed and has been jumping around happy as can be and a bit more playful than I imagined he would be.

Date: November 1-21st

Finished a few shops and other buildings including the hospital and part of the academy. After working continuously for a couple months the workers decided to take a week rest. I think that I can take this time to start training the foxes.

Date: November 22-24th

With Shunomaru's help for communication it's early in training with them yet they seem to be very easy to work with for all this.

Date: November 25th

I think the foxes are almost ready to try sparing with Shunomaru. Soon enough they might even be ready for a clone jutsu. Of coarse for that I'm going to have to work with Tizona and Zirith as well.... That might take a while to teach them with focusing the chakra amounts and synchronizing their timing with their foxes. I'll wait till the next time the crew decides to take a break for a week that way I can go over my plans with the others first.

On my way back to the camp I sent the foxes off to the others while Yasu and Shunomaru remained with me. It was my turn to cook for the four of us and the medical crew (by my choice). As I began gathering up the ingredients I noticed a familiar scent in the air. It smelled sweet and almost floral. I remembered the scent as well as I did my own. It had not once faded past my memory. I've never been much for human contact with anybody besides Zerostsu and now Tizona and Zirith too. There has always been one other person that I have felt more comfortable around than any others (besides Zerostsu). I can't believe that she is here. What is she doing here i wondered?

I walked out of the kitchen area and walked towards the scent as if in a trance. I even forgot to take the apron off before I left. I then continued walking past the edge of the camp towards a clearing in the surrounding forest. I walked towards the center of the clearing and found a lonely iris on the ground beneath me. Hearing a giggle not too far off, I whipped around and saw a shine of orange in a tree and a cute smile that I always loved to see. "Nice outfit" she said still giggling. Only then did I realize that I was still wearing my apron. I had a small blush as I explained that it was my turn to cook. After another laugh from her and another embarrassing moment for me, we went back to the camp to introduce her to the others.
When we got back Zirith and Tizona were getting impatient waiting for dinner and immediately began complaining without realizing that I had someone with me. Zerostsu showed up soon after and noticed who had arrived. He greeted her with a smile which finally caught the attention of the others. Tizona and Zirith were puzzled as to who she was and why she was here. Zerostsu and I introduced her to them happily as a close friend to us both. Her name was Amarante Haruno. We had all been friends since early in the academy and all graduated together and became chunin together as well. We were put in separate squads when we graduated but still kept in touch with each other until we achieved chunin rank. After that we were constantly on missions and never saw or heard from each other since. Zerostsu offered to help me cook today to make a special meal for the reunion with our old friend. Amarante went with the others to wait for the meal and get better acquainted.

As we ate we all shared laughs and some past memories together. Unfortunately we came to the part of explaining how I met Tizona and Zirith. Once Tizona began to explain Amarante immediately stopped him and told us that the Hokage had explained everything to her. She was given a new mission directly from the Hokage that she accepted without even a second thought. The mission of coarse was to help with reconstruction and the safety of the last living beings with a connection to the Shadow Village. The Hokage even filled her in about my second bloodline.
Zerostsu and I got compliments from all around, even from the medical crew who were greatly appreciative that Amarante had medical knowledge like myself although compared to her I was a novice.
Once dinner and all the compliments were finished we all went our own ways for the night. Zerostsu and I helped Amarante set up her tent near our own tents and wished her pleasant dreams. Shunomaru and Yasu ran into my tent chasing one another. Saburou and Haruki have gotten comfortable sleeping with Zirith and Tizona so we were missing two little fur balls in our tent but it was alright with us as long as the little guys were comfy. Amarante heard me laughing and playing with the two of them and decided to come in to give a "proper" goodnight. I was already prepared for bed (no clothes on my upper body) when she walked in. She blushed as I looked up at her with a smile. "I'm glad to be here to help you with everything especially after....... after what happened" she told me. I thanked her for her concern and assured her that I was fine. She knelt down next to me, hugged me, and said goodnight. She quickly stood back up and left my tent to go back to hers. You know what, I could swear that she was blushing when she walked out. I couldn't help but lay there deep in thought about that.

Everyone seemed really happy tonight especially considering that we have a new addition to our party. Amarante always seemed to lighten up my day just by being near me. It makes me wonder.

Oh well..... its about time I head to bed. The two fuzz balls that are left with me are just getting themselves comfortable and ready to sleep. I can't believe what has been happening lately. The foxes are already starting advanced training, the village is coming along at a steady pace, and now Amarante, who I haven't seen for a few years, shows up with news that she is staying with us till at least the village's reconstruction is complete.


Anyways...... I'll be up all night deep in thought so I'll write again soon enough.
