once more upon the mantle stored
the ashes of a pet adored
he gave us love and asked for naught
never angry never fought
a lover at all times
yet he gets a death sentance for lack of crimes
a cancer deep within him grows
its death and sadness it bestows
two pets within two months
this is the second time within the last two months that Ive lost a pet, he has cancer about the size of a softball in his stomach so we have to put him down, I dont think I could get over this all too easily so I will be taking some time off to pull myself back together
