Wednesday, I was on Matt H.'s team. Which isn't that bad, since he kicks a**, but I never get to be on both Matt P.'s and Matt H.'s team together, since Matt H. has the skills but Matt P. has all the rookie power/luck. And Malcolm was on my team, except he wouldn't go in goal. smile

So I had to walk up to Matt H. and pop the question since everyone listened to him. And he put his hand up for a high five. >_>

I was all, "WTF?" but I raised my hand depressingly and asked. And, of course, it didn't go as planned.

"Why don't you go in goal? You did some crazy saves last time."

And I'm pretty sure I went from my Deer-in-the-headlights look to the Are-you-serious? look and tried to explain (without success) that NO, I did NOT do well last time and that I DID NOT want to play it.

And he laughed. gonk

So I had to go in there, because play started and everyone else on our team pleaded being sucky at goalie.

Then Holmes came to our side. And I asked him, jokingly. And he said, "Okay, sure, why not?"

Ahhh. heart

Then later Shelb took over, since she was tired from wrestling and not eating well to do some running. And we won. biggrin

Then today I went to this place for my 7:45 appointment for my ankle. It was the dude who gave me my cast for my wrist a couple of years ago (he told me). So he commented on all the band-aids on my foot ( >_> ), jiggled it around some, brought up the X-rays on the comp. and pointed out all the ligaments or whatever I had slaughtered. He told me it was imparitive that I wear my brace constantly now because it would be really serious if I rolled it again. And also that I was going to do eight weeks of physical therapy, which would make it better or considerably worse. And if it gets worse, I get surgery. smile

Sooo I'm kind of hoping that the PT works out. Because even though I'd get pushed around in a wheelchair by all my slaves- oh wait, friends, it also means not being able to do PE. sad Which, in retrospect, I love despite the strange social situations (I guess Amber and I are on good grounds now and Harris is still being nice, which I still find strange) and the sometimes losing.
