Axl stared at the guards faces. They were full of confusoin and fear. The elder was no different he quickly looked around then pointed at two figures that stood alone, "wha-what is that."
Axl and Fenix turned and readied their weapons. They stood facing a pair of demons one wielded a blood red katana, the other wielded a large spear. Axl let his eyes dart around. He couldn't believe that this was all. He was so used to fighting large numbers he was almost disappointed.
Fenix and Axl shared a quick glance before charging the enemy. Fenix attacked the spear demon with a massive swing. the demon however blocked the swing and began to furiously strike at Fenix. He blocked most of the major blows but the speedy light blows he had trouble keeping up with.
Axl had began to fight the sword demon who smiled and let out a laugh every now and then.They fought furiously letting their blades touch for only a moment before pulling away and quickly colliding again. The demon let out a large laugh when they finally locked blades Axl looked him in the eye, " whats so funny."
The demon looked at Axl with a glare and said," you are funny to fight me with such an easy look on your face," with that the demon grabbed Axl's blade and slid his own across Axl's chest.
Axl quickly jumped back and watched his blood dot the ground. He looked up just in time to parry a blow aimed at his chest. Instead it slid over his right shoulder cutting it open. The demon then slid his blade across Axl's face creating a cut from his left cheek to above his right eye.
With that Axl staggered a little giving the demon his opening. He slammed his blade through Axl's stomach. Axl watched as his blood slowly dripped down the demons blade and curled around his hand. The demon withdrew his blade and let Axl fall to the floor. The demon turned and began to walk away.
Fenix began to block all the small blows as he got faster and faster. He caught the demons spear with his axe and drove it into the ground. He then swung at the demon but it merely flipped back and pulled the spear with him. He turned and began to walk away. Fenix began to chase till he saw the sword demon join the spear one. Fenix turned to where him and Axl were fighting and saw Gekkou holding Axl tightly in her arms trying to stop all the bleeding. Fenix quickly ran to the medic shed and brought out as much first aid as he could find. When he got to Axl and Gekkou he could see the tears running down Gekkous face. Together they quickly bandaged him up and began to slowly walk him to the infirmary. As they reached it the black point ended and the people saw Axl go in.
