A dazzling surprise!
Quite.

I went camping this weekend, and all I can say is.. Awesome.

I went to Gatlinburg, Tennesee this time. God, that city is such a tourist trap.

We(my mom and I) went there and pitched up a tent, expecting to go fishing and just hang out.. In the tent.. . And stuff.
But no! See, we're big Ripley's fans. Have you heard of the Ripley's Believe it or Not! museums? Well, you should start going to them; they're awesome.

Apparently, Gatlinburg decided it needed more Ripley's stuff. So now Ripley's has an Aquarium, a 4D theatre(3D plus seats moving) a haunted house, and a minigolf course.

And they were all RIGHT NEXT TO EACHOTHER. Wow. Awesome marketing stradegy there, Ripley Entertainment. I only planned to do the Aquarium and the Believe it or Not! Museum, but you lugged me into everything except the minigolf(because I'm not THAT gay... Yet).

Ripley's does the most awesome things, though. Their Aquarium was one of the most interesting I've seen. Normal Aquariums have their exhibits and that's it. Ripley's explains how Aquariums work, their filtration system, has a big glass room so you can watch security watch the tanks. It was great. They also sport the longest walk-through tunnel.

What was even better, you could see the top of the tanks. They have the huge shark tank, and you can walk to the top and see the dorsal fin above the water(or is it pectoral when it's a fish?) and get into "Dund und dun JAWS" mode.

Ripley's truly goes into my favorite aquarium book.

But that's not the point of this journal entry. It's what's inside that changed that I cared about, not the visitation stuff.

For the past few months, eating has been a hassle. I'd get up, not be hungry in the morning, and starve myself. Then starve myself again at lunch, and force myself to eat just a little at dinner. I used to be able to have a bottomless stomach. People would call me out and say "How can you eat so much yet be so skinny?"

It wasn't that I wasn't hungry- it's just that I felt bad eating. Like, you have to wash the dishes, but you don't feel like doing it. I was hungry, but I didn't want to eat.

That feeling finally passed! I am now back to eating a chicken and a half at meals, and I am happy! I also have a better respect for myself. I don't know why this happened; I didn't do any self-discovery while I was riding a rollercoaster on a movie screen or watching the shark attack the glass.

I didn't even have any downtime in the tent. I just went to bed in the thing. It's weird.

... But I like it.

It's not the how or why that counts, it's the here and now!

IF YOU GET TO MY JOURNAL, AND ARE EVER CONFRONTED WITH THE IMFAMOUS ENTRY LABELLED "EYE THINK YOU SUCK", CLICK "ARCHIVE" THEN MY MOST RECENT ENTRY. My journal is stupid, and always goes back to that one entry for some reason, even though it is not recent.

Oh my. I've been to Gatlinburg before. =O This was a couple years ago, though. The father person suddenly decided we were going. I had fun while I was there.
Glad you're eating good again, though. Same thing happened to me a while back, so I know what it's like.
