Soupcans! That's right. -nods- Anyway, I despise labels, and people who label others. Of course, it's human nature to try to place people they meet into categories, but I still find it ridiculous. Simply because of our clothing and music choice, my friends and I have been called "emo" and "goth". When this happen, I always tell the people responsible that emo is a style of music, and goth is a style of architecture. This tends to leave them at a loss, especially as the magority of people who do this *coughrickycalebcoltonrielycough* aren't the most intelligent people to begin with.

That one group of kids. You know them. They think that and everyone loves them, but they're the stupidest people you'll ever meet. Well, ever since I moved to MI, my current residence, September 2007, they've been harrasing my friends and I. It started with simple name calling, but then they started throwing stuff like water bottles and small cardboard boxes at us.

A few months ago, I was with a group of my friends in the woods behind the library, where we tend to be a lot. You know how it goes. We had lighters and Axe, 'nuff said, right? Anyway, that same group of kids came out and followed us. Mind you, before this they tended to run away whenever we aproached, so it didn't worry us. They had sticks though, large sticks, and they threatened us, called us names like f**, dyke, lesbos, emo, etc, same s**t as usual. My friend, Morgan, (I don't think she'll mind if I put her name in here) walked up to them and asked something along the lines of "Well, what are you going to do, then?" They backed off, trying to save face, then yelled some more insults and ran off.

I hadn't thought much of it at the time, but apparently, one of my newer friends, Makenna, had been really shaken up by it. She filed a harrasment form with the school and I didn't know about it until Morgan and I were called down to the counselor's office to give our acount of what happened. The counselor said she'd do something about it, but I haven't seen any change in their behavior as of yet. One of them, I don't know his name, has stopped hanging out with the others, and he doesn't bug us anymore. I want to thank him, but I don't think he'd appreciate it if the others found out.

Oh well, I guess we'll live, we always do. I just wish they didn't feel the need to insult and harras us, because it's not exactly becoming.
