Chapter 13
"GRAHHH!!!!", Enrie shouted amidst the gunblasts that his faithful weapon 'Buster' made, the projectiles it continuously spat out ripping through body after body of the Infected. His rifle was effectively wittling down the horde that threatened to engulf him, but he knew all the racket he is causing will just bring more. There are always more of them... He risked turning his head to the side to check if his comrades have indeed followed his orders, and they did; the small group of men and women are finally out of the hungry mob's reach. Though occassionally a few Walkers gave chase to them, his men just mowed them down with their own rifles. No, the Walkers are smart enough to go after easier prey, and Enrie is probably the easiest out of all of them with him being all alone. But Enrie is proving to be a harder kill than the dumb animals have thought, his heavy armor making him almost invulnerable to their primary method of attacking him...biting and scratching. But soon they know that the flesh underneath that robotic armor will tire out and it's hello darkness my old friend for dear old Enrie...maybe even worse.
Even being in the middle of the bloody chaos, Enrie still was thinking about the safety of his men, punching code after code of SOS on his gauntlet, a radio attached to it. "En*static*rie ENRIE!*static* Is that you?!", a voice answered on his intercom. Relief surged through the tired warrior, who still kept the monsters at bay with his rifle while deciding his next move that might be his last. "Julius! Send a vehicle to pick up my men!! I'm two clicks [miles] away from the East Gate! We could see the walls so we are not that far! PLEASE! I can't keep these ******** down for long! URRRGGHHH!!!". Irritated, he whirled around and smashed the butt of his rifle on an Infected that decided to grab Enrie's forearm while the man was sending a message to the City. Without any of them interfering once more, he shouted, "COME ON! HURRY UP!!!".

Loud knocking broke the quiet moment the sisters were having together, the voice of a rattled male coming shouting from the outside as thump after thump continued to disturb the sisters. "Shaena! Hey if you can here me come out! The Vanguards are in trouble!! We need the bus to come pick them up but it won't start!!"
