I Look in a Mirror
I look in a mirror and all I see
Is a reflection of me.
I look in a mirror and all that I see
Is a girl who was beaten and scarred until she would bleed.

I look at you and all I see
Is my guardian angel coming to save me.

Is that I am not alone and that with you I will wake from my never-ending sleep.

I look around me and all I see
Is somebody dying, crying, just wanting a little bit of sympathy.

Is that I’m the only one who notices these people crying out to be free.

I look at my family and all I see
Is a broken home that is smashed too much for it to be.
I look at my family and all that I see
Is a hurting girl who is screaming to be set free.

I look to Heaven and all I see
Is God reaching out his hand to take me to save me.

Is that no pain will ever touch me and I am free.
