Ah...I have been neglecting to write in my journal. However, this is my most recent poem.
A Dreamer’s View
Last night I dreamt of you
Surprised I was when you walked in
I was looking around when I heard
“Aldath! Hi Aldath!”
My heart skipped a beat
I sat frozen still until you came over
You slid onto a seat next to me
I was afraid of looking at you
Fearing you’re not my Tetsu
Yet I couldn’t contain my curiosity
I held your wrist and looked up at you
What I saw couldn’t be describe
You are utterly handsome
Your skin so smooth
Your eyes twinkling with laughter
Your mouth contained a radiant smile
I asked only three words
“Are you Tetsu?”
I saw a grin and you nodded your head
I was ecstatic that I finally met you
But you seemed unaware
Throughout the evening I watched
You conversed merrily with your friends
I noticed my disappointment
Then loud beeping noises blared
It was my alarm clock
My dream shattered
I woke up thinking of you
