Let me paint you a picture
On a canvas with no name
Of vivid, vibrant things
Of rays and suns that sing
Of livid lovely children
With golden tresses and locks
Of hair so fair
Let my thoughts spill out
And mingle on the page
With creation and temptation
I’ll titivate this nation
With witty remarks
And lulling laughter
Here and there
Let the colors re-invent
As their textures laugh and play
The clouds become extinct
And so does black-white ink
The water blushes scarlet
And the sound of love
Feels so real
So I’ll paint for this a charming thing
Feel free to stare and touch
‘Cause here is you
And there are me
And neither of us needs a brush
