It seems like every Gaia event manages to bring out the worse in Gaians.

Not only is it annoying as hell to turn into a zombie, but users (both the "elitists" and the "leechers" wink are equally at fault.

First, who the ******** wants to spend X hours on Gaia? Not I! The first two levels were very reasonable. It takes a while, but not too long to get to 35 grunnies. However, who's idea was it to make the higher levels require so much? Assuming a user is lucky enough to post behind a person with a higher grunny count, it would still require 2 hours and 56 minutes to get to level 3, 5 hours to get to level 4, and a whooping 8 hours and 20 minutes to get to the final level. But it is impossible to post behind a person with a higher grunny count every single time.

If I only had to spend 3 hours to turn my avatar into a zombie, I'd do it. I've been working away at this god-forsaken event for over four hours already, and I'm not even close to 176 grunnies. This is just too much time wasted. I'd feel bad if I quit right now, and I really hate having to continue. The crazy lag is so not helping the situation, either.

The elitists and leechers are both jackasses. I can't stand the whole "Post here and I'll ban your n00by a**." Gee, way to show your sense of community. And I really see that as an abuse of the ignore feature. Imagine how many people are on their ignore list at the end of the day.

However, these ladder threads are a systematic way to up your grunny count. Given the difficulty of this event, it is smart to work about it with a clear method. Everyone can benefit from this if they would only stay in their designated thread. Many of these "leechers" go into another thread on purpose! And they're proud of it! It's like driving on the freeway during rush hour, when stupid drivers go to the exit lane and then force their way back on the freeway in order to cut in front of other cars. It's selfish, and I really can't stand for that.

But the elitists are too busy banning leechers, and the leechers are too busy pissing off the elitists. Yeah, Gaians are really good people at heart. *rolls eyes*
