She prayed for him
Still no word came
He died that day
Leaving her alone in a world of pain
She cried for him
Missing him so
She was alone in the world
And no one knew
Everyone who tried
To save her lost their way
All alone she turned as cold
As stone
And when she emerged from
Her hiding place
They all ran away
Not knowing that
This was the girl they should have
Saved
He wakes from his grave
So afraid
The walls close in around him
Crushing him
His angel had gone away
