A Poem : Lightless
Will you come back
Bring me from the darkened lifeless depths
Shinning warmth and everlasting love unto thee
Lighting the baron, desolate waste land within
Brown, dry leaves swirl deep inside
My roots withered, dated and dying
Stop thine soul from fleeing
Blind my anger, diminish my hate
My ocean is now a death desert full of thirst
The once thumping pulse of the land nothing but a whimper
Rotting trees turn to despairing dust
Thunderous winds of confusion twirling, taking
Storms are ruining me destroying me
I need you back in my troubled life
Burn through the threatening dark clouds
Shine back into me penetrate my soul
Bring endless light to all that is dark
I beg for your warmth I need your light
Golden sun shine into me
