The Lost One, The Fallen One, and The Forgotten One (poem)
All are present at the edge of existence.
All stand silently watching as life, left to it's own devices, falls and florishes.
In the darkness figures move.
In the deep and terrible ocean the different seas wage battles against one another.
On the earth beings tear and rage at the land.
One of those gathered to watch steps away from the small assembly.
He stands there apart from the others
and in a flash of overwhelming darkness, is gone.
Another member of those gathered moves to where the lost one stood and begins to sing.
As her voice is raesed in a sweet and pure melody,
the darkness is pushed away.
When all of the darkness is gone she continues to sing.
At the edges of her song, in the undertones, there is an evil theme that fights for dominence.
Suddenly, the song is no longer sweet and pure
but dark and evil.
As the inharmonius tendrils of the song fills the air,
the ground underneath the singer crumbles away.
She drops out of sight into the darkness.
Yet another figure stands where the fallen one fell.
Slowly, his figure begins to dim and swirl unsteadily.
He raises his hands.
His body looses shape and he is blown away by a sudden gust of wind.
As the smoke fades, there is no proof of the ezistence of the one who is now lost, the one who is now fallen, or the one who is now forgotten.
The remaining figures move away and the darkness faded.
