Good-bye
You call out to me
saying "Please don't leave me like this"
but the thing about you and I is
that I hurt you, with every hug and every kiss.
I care about you deeply
and I can't stand to see you cry
but being with me will make you suffer
and so, I must now say good-bye.
The train arrives at the station
as I look at you once more
tears run down your face
as I leave your heart forevermore.
Though my mind says it's wrong
my heart says it's right
I start a new life without you
as you cry yourself to sleep at night.
