I dreamed of a castle, a large brown stone castle in the middle of a very large field. The kings and queens (there were two each) were out in the field by themselves gathering cotton (that in the dream was much lighter and fluffier). I remember one of the queens saying that the cotton was the cause for 'this'. This was the depression, the world going through hard times.
Then one of them turned and saw plumes of smoke rising from the castle. Someone yelled Cair Paravel and they ran toward it. Some foe from the normal world had set it on fire. The kings/queens got there to find most of the races were nearly wiped out completely. There might've been a handful of gnomes left. And the kings/queens were being blamed for not protecting the races.
Dwarves were particularly angry, demanding the kings/queens be replaced and exiled. Susan was wearing a long white dress and this mask where her face was completely covered, she was in white. The mask was shaped like a sun. Lucy was wearing a white-blond wig. They were trying to defend themselves but no one would listen.
The kings/queens went to talk to those still alive and found a race of creatures with light purple skin and a large tentacle like growth on their head, fallen back like hair. They were all female and working making fabric. These creatures spoke of being inslaved. They feared those that had set the fire.
I've had this dream before, what I remember most is the mask Susan wore, the dwarves and the scene of the castle. It is in hte middle of a huge field and outlining the field are trees. The sun is shining warm and cotton-fluff is floating around like snow in the warmth. I remember not writing the dream down before and regretting it.
Oh yeah, I dreamed I PMed Juno about the fallen wish.
