So, yesterday, one of my students was going on about how she disliked some actor, because he was OMG!teh ghey! (she's twelve, so I guess it's... not as a bad...). I wasl like "So what?" and she was "OMG! Ma'am are you kidding?! He's GAY!" She sounded like being gay meant that he's going to eat her parents or something... I've no idea if I should be upset or amused by this. *sigh*

And while I was going home, some drunk dude yelled "WHOA! A FAIRY!" while staring at my scarf. I know the thing has sequines, but still...
