I’ve watched the Twilight movie on Wednesday(Nov. 26) at the Shangrila Mall in EDSA, Shaw together with my fwends. I watched it because it’s free (thanks to the movie benefits from my rich and generous fwend, Sammy) and because a lot of people says that Twilight is a must see movie. I really like vampire stories so I voted for this one instead of “Bolt”.
The movie was so so.. I mean it’s not that great. Let me point out some of things that I didn’t like:
First: Not my kind of vampire story - I like vampire stories, I even used the user name Queen of The Damned. It’s all because of Anne Rice. Anne Rice’s vampires are way to cool! They don’t sparkle when spotted by the sun. (Sparkling = gay! LOL!)
Second: Story was slow, maybe because it’s a four-part book and 75% of the story is yet to be revealed. I’m just assuming this because I haven’t read the book. I need to read the book though. The sad part is I’ll be imagining things from the book as I’ve seen it on the movie.
Third: Make-up = Make-up artists should be fired/replaced
Fourth: I watched the movie on the third row. [hilo!] smile )
Fifth: Vampire Lestat is way too cool!
The movie is good for Teen-agers, you know the “love story” effect. hehe! I like love story anyways so I give this movie 6.5 out 10 sparkling stars.
