Fenix heard the fighting and ran outside, he turned the corner to see a man unleash a bright read beam. He had no idea what was going on until he heard Gekkou scream Axl's name. He dropped to his knees and could feel tears well up in his eyes, the dusty color of the building and ground of the village blurred as he began to cry.
Axl's Brother turned to him," ah Fenix is here too...enslave them Faia, " He walked away," they will become workers for opening the portal."
"Yes Zack," she waved her hands and shining shackles locked on to the hands of everyone in the village.
Zack gained everyone in the center of the village," Listen up, you have lost ur greatest warrior. you are all now under my controll and shall do as i ask, and i only ask one thing. That u help me build a stone structure here outside the village. as long as u do this you'll all be let go to live freely again."Fenix sat next to Gekkou, him and Axl's mom were trying to console the heartbroken and crying Gekkou.
" you can all live in ur houses but until night u shall work...during night u can live you're lives." He turned and walked away. Faia was close on his tail.
Gekkou sat in the arms of Fenix and Axl's mom. she couldnt get over the site of that morning. She wept for hours and hours and didnt stop till that night where she slept and had a dream of the times she had with him. then at the end of her dream there was a cloaked figure standing alone. The figure was holding a blade, and this blade was Axl's. He turned to her and she could hear Axl's calm voice," its alright...dont cry....everything will be fine." after his words the dream ended. strangely enough after that dream, she didnt feel sad anymore she felt relieved.
As said Zack had them worked during the day, but Zack was never there. They were run by Faia who had them construct two stone spires each one was taller then the trees in the forest.
After many months of building and etching runes into the stones they were told they were done.
"Line up in a single file line to have ur shackles removed," she said. This was the first day that Zack had visited since he put them to work.
"now then, you all have done a wonderful job," he said slyly," now to finish it up...with the offering of all your souls," a large creature appeared behind him with a giant Axe, larger than any man. "start with the purple haired girl," said Zack. Faia smirked
Gekkous eyes dropped and she whispered,"at least i shall be with him."
The creature rose its Axe high in the air, and after a few seconds let it drop.
