Here I am in the darkness waiting in the wings...
You don't really see me, but you here me sing...
A faint scratching of leaves and mournful howling of the wind...
Dancing in the moonlight, fire burning from within...
I blend with the stone and meld with the leaves...
Appearing like a nightmare, but vanishing among the trees...
Pale grey apparition, the color of smoke...
And when I Appear, only one name is spoke...
It is The Dream-Dancer...
It is whispered by the forest, sang by the trees...
Stealing through the air, riding on a breeze...
Red eyes glittering maliciously, boring into your back...
Your hair stands on end, and you ready for the attack...
Stealing upon the air, an apparition of the night...
Gleaming fangs and mottled fur flash just out of your sight...
Than all is silent, and you are alone....
Now that I am gone the forest seems to moan...
Where is The Dream Dancer?
Right behind you.
