Oh snap. It's another rant. This time it's about some commercials. Haven't done this in a while, so...yea...
So there are a couple commercials that really annoy me for some reason. First off, the Skechers commercials. Most of the time the only Skechers commercials I see are the one's that are all "YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO TIE YOUR LACES AGAIN!!!" and all that jazz. I just think that's stupid. It's giving kids a reason to be lazy. I think you should teach your kid to tie their shoes by the age of 8 at the latest. If your kids can't tie their damn shoes by then, then either you or your child fail horribly. If you wear velcro shoes after the age of, let's say... 10, then you should be punched in the face. Unless of course you have some sort of mental or physical disability. And I don't consider being morbidly obese a phisical disability. I put it in the category of ' You need shut-up and get your lazy fat-a** up and lose some damn weight'. Honestly, if there wasn't the risk of getting in trouble, I would tell the lazy kids with velcro shoes over the age of ten off. It's like "Listen you lazy idiot. Learn to tie your damn shoes!" If my child asked me to buy some velcro shoes and they were over 10 I'd slap them and be like "Negro, please. Stop bein' a lazy punk and tie your durn shoes. I taught you to tie shoes for a reason. I'm not gonna buy some stupid shoes with no laces just so you can be lazy." And shoes with no laces for me includes sneakers and crocs. Oh how I hate crocs, but that's another rant.
The second commercial I am annoyed by is some Subway commercials. Specifically the ones that over exaggerate what happens when you eat regular fast food, and the 'musical' 5 dollar foot long one. The one wear the guy is wonderign what to eat, then all of a sudden some team of dancers/singers comes in and repeatedly sing 'Five Dollar Footlong'. Then he orders one! That just seems so annoying to me. If that happened to me I'd just be like "Screw this, I'm goin' to Quiznos". Then the one wear the people are eating other 'fast food' and then either the thing they are sitting on breaks or the button holding the front of their pants closed flies off and breaks something. That just seems so unrealistic. I know commercials aren't supposed to be realistic but that just seems to go overboard. I'm pretty sure if someone ate an exxessive amount of Subway everyday, then they would become fat. Really the thing that makes you fat is the portions...
Thus ends the rant mrgreen
