Technology... is such a fearsome thing...
I was watching the discovery channel about Japan.... and there was these two people sitting there.. both looked a bit odd (it was the angle of the camera)... but fairly normal... and one guy got up... and the other... turned out to be a F-ing robot! That... actually scared the crap out of me. I'm sure it's understandable... technology has advanced so far since I was born even.. that it's actually frightning to think about. I mean really! The internet didn't exist when I was born. It was just starting to come out. I used to play on a computer that is basically the size of... my 1 gb mp3... maybe smaller maybe bigger... but how F-ing scary is that?! Have you ever once thought back... and seen how much things have changed? My gameboy SP was playing games I used to play on the first Nintendo. My CELL PHONE is playing games I played on the Sega. It's really weird. I... didn't have much of a reason to go on the computer... if I wanted to know something.. I had to go to a library... Haha... I remember a couple of computer games from when I was a kid.. were... Lets see.. the Berenstain Bears.. which was a learning game.. I remember caves and such in it for some reason... Doom... Duke Nukem.... and later on... Quake. Then we started getting into that JumpStart stuff... but.. I LOVED those games lol.. I still have them.. I'm tempted to play them lol.. There were probably more.. but I can barely remember... Lol a fine example of change would be looking at the doom then and the doom now...
What the hell!? It went from omg creepy to HOLY F*** lol. But that's just in games and computers and such... It's not just the technology in computers and such... technology has improved in several things... I'm just mentioning computers more... because... well it freaks me out lol. I mean.. there's other things like Machines taking over jobs that can be done by hand... it's convinent... but also incredibly lazy... I know it's faster and all.. but what happens when Technology takes over everything? I mean come on.. There's now automatic toilet paper dispensers... Like Wtf? Who... the hell is lazy enough to not be able to pull some toilet paper out? Is it to limit how much you take?? And if it is.. that's a bunch of B.S. Sure it'll give you such and such amount of it... but what do we do? We just wave our hand in front of it to get more.. Have they not considered this? I... know that... technology.. is.. good.. in so many ways. But... I can't help but get this unsettling feeling... when I look back on it... It's scary... Should I blame the Terminator...? What about Eagle Eye... iRobots... or even Wall-E? There are far too many things (Movies, Books, etc.) going off robots and technology becoming their own individual being. I don't believe... that they're far off... And you know what else is pretty f-d up? When i get REAAALLLYYY thinking about it... all of the sudden it becomes a religious thing... If that were to ever happen, the technology --> Robots and such... We... Humans.... Would... Be their God. Their Creator.... How... F'd up.... is that? Why am I posting this?.... I... don't know..
... I just... felt like it...
