Shadows stalking,
the dead are walking.
Moonlight fading,
I am waiting.
The sun burns,
scorching itself.
The ocean churns
leaving welts
along the sandy beach.
Fear consuming,
hope out of reach,
darkness looming.
Corruption and hate;
Here I wait.
