Summer has never been so cold.
I sit at the very edge of the seashore rock,
Imitating the sound of gusty wind pushing away the rolling waves.
I can’t stop shivering.
Maybe that’s what the waves and the winds are doing,
Shaky from guilt and regret,
As they again and again reach for the bleached shore,
Hoping if they climb high enough,
They’ll reach what they dream about, wish about, shed tears about.
It’s been a while now,
A while is everything that I can use to describe that unbearable gap,
Lying between you and me.
I have waited for so long,
But in the end, nothing is there for me to grip onto,
Nothing is there for me to pour my heart’s content.
Still shivering in my heavy jacket of May,
Busy watching flowers bloom,
I can only think about the petals leaving the flower,
Their sweet scent drifting on and on...
暗香
当花瓣离开花朵
暗香 残留
香消在风起雨后
无人 来嗅
