okay, i am uber UBER excited for marching band next year. One, i won't have to march because i'm playing in the pit (that's the front ensemble consistant of xylophones and marimbas and other things) and Two, i will be playing the lead vibraphone (it's like a xylophone but is made of metals, with a pedal to sustain the notes). but i was supposed to play vibe 2, but our lead person quite because he didn't get drum major, so i got the part. i'm excited and nervous at the same time. excited because its the lead vibe part and i'm not even a percussionist. (i just learned the instrument this year and my director thinks i'm beast) and i'm nervous because i'll have a solo (*bites nails*)
