By the time you returned
I laugh at your confusion
About time you learned
I'm not as weak
As you think I might be
I have moved on
As you can see
How about you?
You look well
I hope everything
Is going quite swell
Well now you look pale
Your face has gone white
You break out in a sweat
Is everything alright?
Your eyes dart around
Then your gaze meets mine
You look to the ground
Is everything fine?
Oh I see through your ruse
Your pathetic facade
You expect me to believe
That you have moved on?
I have found another lover
That is here, and here to stay
Unlike empty souls like you
That go and fade away~

Maybe love was worthwhile~

My mind broadly wanders
But pauses on the lies

The fibs that you threw
I couldn't stand
Not seeing the real you
When we first met
I thought you'd make the pain go astray
I know better now
As my compassion melts away
