A Shadows Dream

Restricted to it's master footing.
Silent.
Dark.
It's been depicted as many other meanings.
Fear.
Sadness.
Anger.
Depression.

But what if a shadow dreamed?
What if it pictured itself living in freedom.
Freedom of all it's depicted as.
It can more than just go on with it's life,
but also live it's life away from what all others say.

I am no longer talking about a shadow.
In fact, I never was talking about a shadow.
I was talking about man.
More specifically, teens.
Don't let culture control you.
Don't let others speak for you.
You have your own voice, use it.
And shatter man's hold on you,
like if a shadow had a dream.
