A quiet, isolated place made just for them. She had thought about it many nights when he had decided to sleep over, but she had never had the courage to follow through with her thoughts. But tonight seemed to be the perfect opportunity, and just before she could say anything about the matter, he began to speak, “Baby, I think it’s time we thought about...something sorta personal.”
“Like what?” she asked, a little suspicious of if it were the same thing she had wanted to address.
“Well...you know...sorta like something many couples do when they’re very close to each other and---”
“You don’t mean...?” They both stood there akwardly, thinking about the same word that meant so much at that moment to both of them.
“Yeah. I do,” he whispered. She could then see a little bit of red in his cheeks.
“It’s okay. I was thinkin’ of the same thing right when you brought it up.” She smiled. She didn’t want him to feel nervous about wanting the same thing as she or any other couple wanted from each other. “Well,” she said after a moment of thought, “do you...”
She looked at him for a moment. He had his head down and he was rocking back on his heels. He looked up and they gazed at each other for a long time. Then, as if a sudden urge for lust had struck both of them, they began to kiss. She could feel his arms around her, how strong he was as the musceles tightened around her. They rested a moment to catch their breath and he finally spoke, “Wow. You weren’t kidding when you said you were thinkin’ bout it.”
She could feel more of a desire for him then. “C’ mon,” she said. She took his
hand and led him toward her bedroom. She knew they were serious about this.
“I’ve never felt like this before in my life,” he said as they disappared into the room.
