I got into a long distance relationship when I was a freshman in high school. Embarrassingly, I met the person during the summer after I was in 8th grade. I was really emo and wore gothy type clothes and was depressed because my first boyfriend had dumped me for my best friend.

Sooo I was on the Happy Tree Friends message board (which is really embarrassing), and I started talking to him more as a high schooler. Luckily neither of us liked Happy Tree Friends anymore at that point.

Anyway, he saved up money to come visit me once the summer before my sophomore year, and then he came the next winter and the next summer. We dated for about 2.5 years and then broke up. He's older than me, so he was already coming to college here when we broke up. But, we ended up getting back together about two years ago and we've been together since.

We're actually moving in together in August. I'm looking at apartments today.
