Hourglass
You met a special person
That made you happy
Your bond with her started small.
But it grew,
Day, by day, by day,
Without you realizing.
You shared jokes, smiles, and laughs.
Had your greatest times,
Just with that person.
Little did you know about the growth.
The growth of your bonds grew bigger than usual.
The bond called love.
You thought of ways to say it.
The three words caged in your heart.
The words desperately tried to get out.
Just for them to reach her.
You let it out,
And at the same time,
You learned that she felt the same way.
You started a new beginning.
Better than the one before.
A bond,
Or relationship you desired.
But the limit.
The time you had left.
You spent most your time with her.
Most of the time you had left. in your hourglass
Time slowed you down.
It scared you,
It ruined you.
You had to say goodbye.
You couldn’t think of any other way how,
So it had to be in a harsh way.
You left.
You were wearing a frown,
And had tears on your face.
As did she but nothing could be helped
And the three word you could here echoing in your mind
The same three words that caged your heart
