We rallied up by morning and left as early
With tools and equipment, we moved out
Greeted by allies, we made our way
Till we finally hit our target

At first, there was pure joy
No worries as laughter took me over
But slowly, something seeped in
Not the water or the sand, but something

I went away from friends and joy
And sat alone in depression.
Sadness took me over
I tried to grasp my dream in my hand

But the reality is a dream can't join it.
Lost in woe, I never thought I could be the same
However, where and why I went back
It never came to me

But when I went to the water to drown my sorrow
I saw her...
Her smile, Her eyes, Her beauty
And once there, I couldn't look away

Anyday would be a day I would rather talk to a tree than her
But... Today was different
Today, we talked and today, I was with an angel
And that angel was you.
