TLLF: Chapter 6 Part 2


Method to Madness


Deidara walked down the hall the next morning. He was headed up to the medical room where Sasori was resting. He needed to see him, he needed to see his lover’s face before he went out on a mission with that idiot Tobi. He walked hurriedly and came to the door. He took in a breath and opened it slowly.
“ L-leader-Samma?” Deidara said. He didn’t expect to see Pein by Sasori’s bedside. Pein looked up at Deidara.
“ He hasn’t awoken yet. I’m just leaving. Don’t take to long Deidara.” Pein said in his usually harsh tone. He got up and slid past Deidara and into the hall. When he was far enough away Deidara let out a sigh.
“ Well that was weird.” He said. He closed the door and walked over to Sasori’s bed where Sasori was resting. Deidara looked at him. Sasori’s body was wrapped in bandages and the blanket covered him from his hips down. Sasori’s hair glowed red agents the white pillow and it seemed to have gotten longer. Before his hair was just to the bottom of his ears, now it seemed to have grown past that and to his neck not yet toughing his shoulders. He looked so much thinner and softer then he used to. What a difference a human body did for him. Deidara sat in the chair next to the bed. He looked Sasori over again. He reached out and softly pet Sasori’s head. Sasori’s eyes fluttered open once Deidara hand felt his forehead. He looked over to the side and saw his lover, Deidara, siting by his side. Sasori smiled a little. Deidara saw that Sasori had woke up and started to say something, but Sasori’s smile stopped him. They starred at each other for a few minutes. Finally Deidara spoke up.
“ Sasori… H-how do you feel, un?” He said. His hand held Sasori’s gently. Sasori shrugged but not too much.
“ I still can’t move, but it doesn’t hurt as much anymore.” Sasori said. He smiled gently at Deidara. “ What about you? Are you ok?” He asked. Deidara smiled back and nodded before kissing Sasori’s cheek tenderly.
“ Better, now that your awake…Sasori, I was so scared when I found you, un.” Deidara said. His face drooped when he thought about Sasori’s screams and the blood. Sasori shook his head, but stopped when the pain echoed down his neck.
“ Deidara. Don’t think about it anymore ok? I’m here now. You don’t need to be afraid.” Sasori said. He painfully lifted up his injured arm to caress Deidara’s cheek. His bandaged hand shook with the pain, but managed to stroke Deidara’s cheek tenderly. Deidara let a tear fall when he nodded his head. He held on gently to Sasori's hand that was touching him and kissed it softly. Sasori smiled softly and watched Deidara.
“ Deidara-kun. Forgive me for making you worry like that. I love you so much.” Sasori said. Deidara looked at him, still holding Sasori’s hand to his cheek.
“ It wasn’t your fault, un... I love you too.” Deidara said. He looked at the clock and his eyes slanted in sadness when he realized it was time to head out on that stupid mission with the idiot of Akastuki, Tobi.
“ Danna, un. I have to go.” Deidara groaned. He stood up and started walking toward the door. Sasori’s eyes widened.
“ Wait! Don’t leave me! Where are you going!?” Sasori called. Deidara turned around and smiled a disappointed smile.
“ I got a mission with that idiot Tobi. I came here to see how you’re doing. If I don’t go, Leader-Samma will get mad. I’m sorry about leaving like this Sasori.” Deidara explained. Sasori let his eyes go back to normal, but the worry in his voice didn’t leave a lot.
“ Oh, well ok. At least kiss me before you go.” Sasori pleaded. Deidara chuckled a bit and walked back to Sasori. He leaned down and met lips with the red-head. They kissed softly, both of their lips moving gently agents each other. When it ended, Sasori took a hold of Deidara’s hand.
“ Please, be careful.” Sasori whispered. Deidara kissed Sasori again, but it was shorter then the last one.
“ Don’t worry Danna, un. I will.” He said. Sasori let Deidara’s arm go, and Deidara headed out of the room. The door closed and Sasori lay there looking after Deidara with worry in his eyes.
A day passed. Deidara arrived from his long, boring mission with Tobi and he collapsed in his bed. He buried his head in the soft, blue pillow and snuggled into the warmth of the blankets. His mind flashed to Sasori. It had been to long for him since he last seen Sasori. He began to feel a bit lonely and he knew he couldn’t do what he use to do with Sasori now that his love was injured. Deidara sighed and turned oh his back. There was a knock on his door. Deidara burred his head in his pillow again.
“ God now what! Come in!” Deidara yelled. The door opened and Hidan stepped in along with Itachi. Deidara didn’t look up, instead he kept his head in the pillow.
“ Ok who ever you are, just go away. I’m not in the mood.” He said. Hidan looked nervous and he looked over at Itachi who nodded and motioned forward. Hidan seemed very unwilling but followed Itachi’s motion. He came up to Deidara’s bed and flipped him over. Before Deidara had a chance, his eyes were covered with a black cloth and his legs and feet were tied to the corners of the bed.
“ Hey! What’s going on! Who are you!” Deidara screamed. Hidan took out his sharpened stick and Itachi took out his kunai and smiled. They undressed the struggling Deidara and Pein walked in the room. Hidan looked at Pein, his expression unsure and he wanted to let this go.
“ Leader-Samma, is this really necessary?” He asked.
“ I’m not really sure about this.” Itachi said.
Deidara’s eyes widened under the blind.
“ Hidan! Pein-Samma! Itachi-kun! W-what are you doing to me!?” Deidara screamed and struggled agents the ropes that held him down. His body was bare, except for his white boxers and his hair flew around wildly when he tossed his head to the side. Pein walked forward to him and placed his cold hand on Deidara’s chest, then skimmed it up to Deidara’s forehead. His chakra entered Deidara’s brain and Deidara froze in place.
“ You will forget we were ever in your room. You were wounded during your mission and that’s why you are injured. Now, pass out.” Pein ordered. Deidara’s body went limp. Pein waited a few seconds then ordered Itachi and Hidan to untie Deidara. Once Deidara was untied, Pein ordered for Itachi and Hidan to stab Deidara till he was on the edge of death. They had to comply. Hidan had to go first. He looked at Deidara’s limp body, a tear forming in the corner of his eye. He took up his sharpened stick and slashed it across Deidara’s cheek then deeper gashes down Deidara’s body. The blood splattered on his face, the walls and the bed. Hidan let his tear fall then stabbed Deidara all over his body, tearing out he stick and causing more blood. Deidara stayed limp, his mind in a pit of blackness. Itachi’s turn came. He slowly dragged his kunai around Deidara’s body, making it nice and deep. His next part was to use his eyes to make a fake memory of Deidara being attacked. The abusing went on for two hours. Once done, Pein took Deidara out of his room and rushed him down to the medical room where Sasori was already awake. He busted down the door and called for Konan. She came out hurriedly and lead Pein with Deidara down into the medical room. The door opened to the medical room where Sasori was and he looked over. Sasori’s eyes widened to the max when he saw Deidara passed out and bleeding in Pein’s arms. Pein laid Deidara down in the bed next to Sasori and Konan began working on him. Sasori franticly looked over at Pein. Pein looked back and shook his head.
“ He was attacked on his mission. We just managed to save him, it was a close one though.” Pein lied. Sasori looked at Deidara and he hid a tear that came falling down his face. Konan wrapped Deidara in bandages and when she was finished, she weald the bed next to Sasori.
“ Dei-chan.” Sasori murmured. Pein looked at Sasori.
“ He’s ok now. Call if something happens.” He said as he walked out the door with Konan. Sasori starred at Deidara with tears now running down his face.
“ Deidara…” He whispered. He extended his wounded hand to where Deidara was laying and held his lover’s hand. He didn’t let go and he decided he wouldn’t until Deidara woke up, despite the screaming pain that traveled down his arm.
Out side the medical room, Konan looked at Pein with a raised eyebrow.
“ Was that really necessary Pein-kun? It was kinda pointless to me… You could have just broke his arm and saved him a lot of trouble and pain.” She said. Pein shrugged and continued to watch Deidara and Sasori.
“ Perhaps, but now they are suffering together right? If they are going to be in love, they might as well go through the same thing together.” Pein said. Konan looked at him, then looked back at the blonde and the redhead.
“ Your methods confuse me.” She said. Pein smiled a little.
“ At least there is a method to my madness.” He said.
