Who are you???
You know me...
I don't know you.
"You...", he says
"I am the one the one who you hold most dearest"
"Or so you say."
I look back,
through the fire,
the pain,
the lost.
I cannot see this man standing infront of me.
I do not know who he is.
"You and I know eachother very well," he says.
"We were friends, comrades, in crime...."
"But you don't know who I am... because,
you are afraid to know your true feelings."
I look back through the fire,
looking through the memories,
yet, I do not find this man.
This man who knows more about me than I do.
"If you don't know,
I should go,
you'll want to run away again,
because,
that's who you are...
afraid,
alone,
and bitter."
He says the things that I know the best,
but I do not see how he knows...
Back into the fire, the chaos of my mind,
I look,
but I do not see.
But, as I look,
I see a door undisturbed,
not looked in.
I walk up,
as the flames, rush towards me.
I open the door and I see a mirror.
"That is who I am," says the man.
"I am the you, the one who you ran away from."
I look at the man, and see the scars,
the wounds of the past...
I see him, as I go towards the mirror,
then, it goes blank.
"You may know who I am,
but who you are...
is still a mystery.
To even me.
You need to view yourself through the mirror to see who you are,
then, you'll see everything you lost...."
He says these things as he walks away, I look in the mirror...
and see the world, that I once found dear,
now, the shell I have been in has broken,
and now, I feel the real pain....
