I got bored in Computers. D ;

It wasn’t like her to ever hang out with him. She never knew why, but there was something about him that attracted her to him like a moth to a fire. She never really cared, she was happy to be with him, to spend some time with him. He was funny and made her laugh. He was sweet and made her smile. He was and seemed absolutely perfect in her eyes.

Her name was Rebecca; of course, her peers shortened it to Becky. It was only normal, and like always, she didn’t really mind it at all. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye. They were both sitting on the edge of the sidewalk, the air was cold, and the sun was warm, making the day perfect. No cars were driving by to make the loud sound that made Becky wince and shiver. She was happy; she was with him, and she was happy.

He finally raised his head from his hands that were folded, and supported by his elbows against his knees, and looked at her, breaking the silence, “I really don’t know what to do about it.”
Becky looked at him, the instant she turned her head, his deep brown eyes meeting her baby blue eyes. It nearly made her blush knowing he was looking right at her. “I’m sorry that happened, I really am. Is there anything I can do to help?” she asked, barely tilting her head to her right in question.
“Nah. I just don’t get women sometimes, no offense-“
“None taken.”
“-but seriously. Why would she do that in front of me?”
“She’s just . . . I don’t know. Stupid?” Rebecca looked away from him for a second as if to gather some more words and put them together, “Just don’t worry about it too much, Josh. She made a mistake and-“
He placed his hand on her knee. His touch made her stop, “Thanks Becky,” he laughed, and his hand left her knee as he stretched out, “sometimes I wonder what I would do without you.”
