XxNightwind_AlchemistxX 's Random Thought Journal
This Journal contains random thoughts about random things. I love randomosity!!
I honestly think this was the hardest thing to write EVER!
I cried at the sight of the first blow hitting Michel in the stomach, when he fell to the ground, when the entire group of guards set upon him and beat him.
I screamed for them to stop hundreds of times, struggling against Calen’s grip on my waist and arm. I fell still in horror as Michel’s pleas stopped and his eyes became frightened as he realized he was going to die.
“See what happens to those who display disrespect?” Calen sneered. “The poor b*****d never even stood against my men.”
“You gave him no time to explain,” I shouted at the arrogant vampire. “You’re a soulless wretch, Calen!”
“A wretch, am I? Well I guess it wouldn’t ease your mind to let you say your final farewell to the damned thing.”
“He’s not a thing, you brute!” I snapped as I shook him off finally and ran over to Michel. The guards parted for me so I could see their handy work which made me sick to see.
He was completely disabled, his legs and arms broken, his eye swollen shut, his body covered in deep gashes and quickly forming bruises. It was a miracle that he was still even able to breathe.
“Forgive me,” he whimpered as I approached and collapsed to my knees next to him. The ground squished and bubbled with his blood as it pooled around him.
“There is nothing to forgive. You did no wrong.” I was choking on my tears, trying so hard not to cry and failing.
He coughed and found me with his one good eye. “Teresa.”
“I’m here, Michel, I’m right here.” I cupped his cheek in my hand. He was so cold, I cried even harder as I knew there was no way to save him.
“I love you,” he murmured softly. He struggled a little, but managed to get one of his hands on mine. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too, Michel, I love you too,” I whispered and kissed him gently. He responded weakly and groaned when I pulled away so I was just a few inches from his face.
“Don’t forget me.”
“I could never forget you.” I smiled for him as he closed his eyes and drew his last breath. I sat and wept over him, numb from the sight of his wretched body and the knowledge I will never be able to talk to him again.
“It’s time,” Calen said finally after a few silent moments passed. “We’ve stayed long enough for you to mourn the loss of your beloved pet.”
I felt nothing and said nothing at his intolerance. I kissed Michel’s pale lips once more before lifting myself from his side. My dress was stained in my love’s blood and in exchange I’d tear my heart to shreds, ensuring Calen could never have it.
“No words for your love?”
“I’m filled with them, but they are words best not wasted on a callous atrocity such as yourself who will never know my affections.”
He opened the door to the carriage I was to ride in and smirked at me, “We shall see whose will is stronger, Princess, and I should warn you that I never lose.”
“Until now,” I retorted dryly as he slammed the door shut. “Until now.”

As you can tell, Michel (One of my Fave Characters in the Dark Realm Series), dies by the hands of the overly evil Calen.

It was so hard to write, you have no idea.
